It is my dream to one day venture out to Park City, Utah to attend a Sundance Film Festival. An 11 day event of film, music, art, and so much more. It is such an amazing program that supports international and independent films. Many of our most famous films we have today premiered at Sundance. I am dying to see some of the films that are being viewed over there right now, but unfortunately if you're not attending, we have to wait quite a while to see them, if ever.
Here are some trailers of some amazing looking films I hope come out in the near future! Most films haven't even released their trailers yet, but the ones that have make this years festival look amazing!
Zoë Kravitz, Forest Whitaker, Blake Anderson, AND A$AP Rocky? Im sold.
I don't know about you but I am a major sucker for Jonah Hill in a Dramatic Role. I have mixed feelings about James Franco but I'll always give him a chance.
"A beautiful, black-and-white drama that's sure to satiate your French New Wave cravings"
Two of my favorite films, Breathless and Jules and Jim, are French New Wave. I cannot wait to see this one. I have a feeling, however, I might be in the theatre alone.
"The trailer for Princess is seriously creepy (in part because of the abusive relationships that it hints at), but it also hints at the film's blurring of role play, fantasy, and reality, which is supposed to play a big part in the narrative. It's certainly looks like some intriguing storytelling."
This doesn't look like a typical movie I would normally be drawn to but, this looks awesome. It may just be the music, but I can't wait to see what this movie is all about!
I have insanely mixed feelings about this documentary. It Pervert Park is a look inside a neighborhood located in Florida, whose residents are former sex offenders. This looks extremely disturbing. I hope it does not make what these people did seem okay. At the same time, this looks incredibly sad. Definitely a good watch.
This year Vogue magazine has elected 10 different bags as candidates for their #ITBAG2015 election!
The bags have been selected and there is only one day left! I voted, you should too!
Here are the bags, their campaigns and even different portrayals of each bag featured in famous/popular photographs done by artist, Kalen Hollomon.

Every once in a while I get sick of looking at the same thing, therefore I love making little changes to my website, blog, etc. I simplified my title and made some new social media icons!
The images are courtesy of AlexanderMcQueen.com and are special designs for exclusive scarves done my Damien Hirst.
Check them out!
Just pulled social media icon png's and created a clipping mask in photoshop!
Just booked by trip to Punta Cana for Spring Break so you can only imagine how excited I am for springtime!

Zimmerman: too good to choose only 3 looks
It's about to be award season, one of the best times of the year for fashion and film my two favorite things!
I love looking at red carpet looks and the Golden Globes has some of my favorite looks of all time.
My top favorites:
Emma Stone in both 2011 & 2012
Cameron Diaz in 2009
Sienna Miller in 2001
It's winter break!! I know what everyone is doing with their time, watching Netflix.
The worst part about Netflix is trying to find the perfect thing to watch. That's where I come in, here are some of my favorite movies/documentaries on Netflix. I chose the ones that many people haven't seen!
As you may realize... I like the indies. I have a massive list of movies I wanted to share but I realized, when you're lying around all day watching movies, you don't always want super serious ones. These are lighthearted and funny, and some are very cool! I have watched them all at last twice!
As I was writing my Lena Dunham blog post, I was also watching Nick Offerman's standup on Netflix called, American Ham. This guy is so incredibly hilarious and everything I would dream of in a husband.
Nick Offerman IS Ron Swanson
Here's a little clip of a song he did in the middle of it called: Hanky Song.
The manliest man with the girliest laugh.
My favorite part:
"It's great that this issue is getting attention, however, I am irked. By all the attention that it is getting, all the ruckus and hubbub about same sex marriages, when all the while mother fucking vegetarians are marrying, bearing children, right on these streets! They're fucking herbivorous urchins that are prancing down your sidewalk with a canvas bag full of kale...!"
I am all about Lena.
I may say this a lot, but I mean it this time. I am obsessed with Lena Dunham.
I fell in love with her the second I started watching Girls, my favorite TV show (I've watched each season at least twice.) She is an unbelievable writer, director, and actor and is the voice of our generation.
I have seen and read almost everything she has done, she is so inspirational, relatable, and hilarious!
As you probably (hopefully) know she has published her book, Not That Kind of Girl, which I ran out to the store to buy the day it came out. I tore that book apart, staying up till 2am and neglecting my schoolwork and social life to finish it. My favorite thing to do when reading books, especially biographies is to mark down the pages with my favorite quotes to refer back to later on. Unfortunately as I am writing this post I remembered I lent the book to a friend, so.... here are quotes that I googled from the book that I remembered I liked.
Lena gets criticized a lot for what she stands for and how she acts. It really bothers me when people have harsh opinions of her being a feminist. Feminism has such a negative stigma and I sometimes find myself thinking negatively of it. They are not all crazy lesbians who hate men and don't shave their armpits. Although they do exist that is not what a feminist is. To me, a feminist is someone who believes that women deserve to be treated equally and stand up for each other.
“Feminism doesn’t mean women are going to rise, take over the planet, and like cut off men’s testicles.”
"There is room for all of us."
Secondly she gets a lot of shit from people telling her she is not attractive enough to show her body on her TV show. If you feel that way. get.over.it. You really bother me. How dare you tell someone she's not attractive enough to be comfortable in her own skin on her own show! If you don't like it, don't watch it ....
and grow up!
Yesterday, the day before my Graphics class final project was due, I decided to trash everything I had been working on and restart. After 14 hours of staring at Adobe Illustrator, this is my final project!
"I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. you know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing. "
