Nothing better than when you meet artists and they are way nicer than you expected. Every artist I even passed by introduced themselves.
I hope y'all made it to Madipalooza! It was such a great day! Met magic man, mammoth indigo, bas! I was embarrassingly nervous around Magic Man cause I love them so much. Mammoth Indigo was super nice, Erika and I made best friends with the lead singer, Cody Bower's mom who was the cutest thing ever. THEN Erika and I were asked to go pick up Bas from his hotel….. it was a very interesting trip, thats all i'll say. Super nice guys though!! Nothing better than when you meet artists and they are way nicer than you expected. Every artist I even passed by introduced themselves. Let's be honest though… the best part was all the beards and man buns and tattoo's that were present. The guy in the red pants ^ had an awesome beard, but Erika wouldn't let me ask to touch it.

As I posted about before I recently read Looking For Alaska and a small part of the book was about how the main character was fascinated by the last words of famous people. I thought that was so weird but really interesting. Recently I happened to stumble upon a random website that had the last words of some interesting people! I thought I'd share my favorites.
This morning I signed up for my fall classes of technically my senior year… but I'll probably be here for, hopefully only a 5th year… 6 years and it starts getting embarrassing. Next Semester I'm taking two SMAD classes, French, Philosophy, and Photography! BUT I am SOOOO excited because I am signed up for a JMU teach class taught by a JMU student about….. BEARDS.
yeah you read that right. The Literary Culture of Facial Hair According to the article, she fell in love with the Avett Brothers, and then facial hair. same. Let's Get Inspired: I love Buzzfeed, it's so addicting!
These are my quiz results from an embarrassingly long time taking these tonight! Click on the pics and it will take you to the same quiz I took! Apparently I'm cool, need a sleeve of tattoos, and should live in Portland in the 60's… Buzzfeed thinks I'm cooler than I actually am Could It Be? Millennials Are The New Generation Of Hippies, But With Better Weed
Found this super awesome article on Facebook, if you think about it, its so true! I am glad I realized this now, while were living it as opposed to looking back at the "good ol' days" never having realized they were the good days until they are gone! "We are the new free spirits, the new lovers, the new revolutionaries. We are the children of the herb, the sisters of the ganja and the brothers of the pipe. We are just passionate kids with an idea of living life another way." "We’ll be a culture founded on art, love and music. We won’t be biased against sexual preference, skin color or nationality. We won’t start wars or throw bombs. We won’t kick people out for wearing turbans or living in Palestine. We won’t have half our generation’s marriages end up in divorce." My mom wanted me to take it down because she said it makes me look like a pot head. But, sorry Susan it's too good of an article! That last quote makes be very happy to be apart of this generation! Feeling very sentimental today due to the loss of two boys from Langley High School. It breaks my heart to hear of this and my thoughts and prayers go out to both their friends and families. Always know that someone loves you. Just because you're having a bad day or year, does not mean you have a bad life. Let the future and all of it's possibilities excite you, let that be a driving force behind any pain. "Always be kind, because everyone is fighting a hard battle." "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear. " "'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Keep those you love close, and remind them of your love everyday
