Today I received a major reality check. Fall is my favorite season, not too hot, not too cold. Today however, was 30° out and I was wearing a sweater. Winter is coming and I am so not prepared. Finding the perfect coat is very difficult, unless you're okay with looking like a marshmallow. First of all, coats are expensive, you can find some pretty cute and cheap coats, but the second you step outside you are going to regret not investing in a nicer option. Secondly, we all have those coats in our closets, that we secretly know should not be there. That puffy coat you wore sledding when you were younger, that you can't bear to get rid of because it is the only coat that actually works, be a big girl and toss it. Then we have the North Face. I am not saying to toss this coat because it is comfortable, and you may actually need it as a casual camping jacket (I couldn't really think of another example, but you get it). But nothing ruins an outfit like a jacket that collects every single piece of lint and hair in sight. How about we all try to make a better effort with our outerwear this year.
