The Films
Adieu Au Language (Goodbye to Language) | I love Jean-Luc Godard, a french director who made one of my favorite films, Breathless. I am a true supporter of film makers and love when they push the limits of film…. but when I saw the trailer of this film, Adieu Au Language (Goodbye to Language) I wasn't too sure about it... but I will see it. Breathless "I don't know if I'm unhappy because I'm not free, or if I'm not free because I'm unhappy." ^ This movie you should watch! ^ |
Captives (The Captive) | Love a good Ryan Reynolds movie… especially when it's serious and he can show his actual talent! Captives, or The Captive looks really good, I always love mysteries and this film about a girl taken captive looks really good! |
Maps the the Stars | If we're being honest here, I couldn't care less what this film is about, if it has Robert Pattinson in it, I'm down. I even sat through Cosmopolis… that is dedication. However, this movie actually looks awesome. Julianne Moore is such an unbelievable actress and you really don't see her too often playing good roles in major films, but once you see her in the indies you'll know what I mean. Also I must point out… thats a really stupid looking movie poster. |
Mr. Turner | Can't WAIT to see this film!! About one of my all time favorite painters, J.M.W. Turner! As I started watching the clips to this film, I knew I would love it already because the man who plays Mr. Turner… PETER PETTIGREW (HP)! J.M.W. Turner is an amazing painter, I can't wait to see some of his work when I go to London!! |
Relatos Salvajes (Wild Tales) | I am not going to lie to you, movies with subtitles… not always fun. But, this movie does look pretty cool! No trailer on youtube, but here's the link to a trailer with subtitles… watch it. Relatos Salvajes |
Clouds of Sils Maria | Not a huge Kristen Stewart fan, but I love Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz! Had a very hard time finding a trailer for this, but here is the synopsis: SYNOPSISAt the peak of her international career, Maria Enders (Juliette Binoche) is asked to perform in a revival of the play that made her famous twenty years ago. But back then she played the role of Sigrid, an alluring young girl who disarms and eventually drives her boss Helena to suicide. Now she is being asked to step into the other role, that of the older Helena. She departs with her assistant (Kristen Stewart) to rehearse in Sils Maria; a remote region of the Alps. A young Hollywood starlet with a penchant for scandal (Chloë Grace Moretz) is to take on the role of Sigrid, and Maria finds herself on the other side of the mirror, face to face with an ambiguously charming woman who is, in essence, an unsettling reflection of herself. |
